Fulbright Summer in Wales

Wales is a lush green country in Britain with an abundance of castles and sheep.

As a sophomore in college, I was selected to participate in the Fulbright Summer Institute and travel to Wales, where my cohort and I, eight undergraduates from across the US, studied at Cardiff, Bangor, and Aberystwyth universities. After the Fulbright Summer Program, I prepared a presentation to deliver on campus at Linfield to discuss my experience and penned a journal portfolio.

I credit the Fulbright summer experience with planting a seed for what would become my professional interests in international affairs and eventual interest in returning to the United Kingdom to pursue graduate studies. And I answered a few questions about studying abroad for a podcast interview with How to College.
