Teaching in South Africa

With a keen interest in working more directly with young people, I traveled to the rural region of Nkomazi to intern with a selective academic mentorship and merit-based afterschool program serving high school-aged scholars.

As a youth development advisor, I interned with Imagine Scholar to deliver a series of presentations and workshops. I enjoyed teaching the cohorts of scholars public speaking, career mapping, and debate skills. It was such a privilege to work with talented and ambitious students.
